Carestream Health expands eHealth Services

Carestream Health offers new eHealth Services which ensure the protection of patient information as well its shareability. Dr. Bernard Algayres, former regional Business Manager was named to lead the extended business.

Carestream Health is expanding the business of the eHealth Managed Service organization and is going to provide const-effective, secure and dependable solutions for an efficient management of patient data. The company’s operations embrace Service Delivery, Engineering and R&D, Service Line Management and Business Development Management.

Dr. Bernard Algayres was named to manage the global operating business, that is part of the company's Healthcare Information Solution. The new services will be promoted by Carestream Healths' sales professionals and indirect channel partners, which are amongst others already responsible for the information storage solutions including KODAK CARESTREAM Enterprise Information Management (EIM), a solution for enterprise-wide management of imaging studies and other patient data.

Technical infrastructure for EU funded R-bay project

Carestream Health is a major technical infrastructure provider to the EU-funded R-Bay validation project, which aims to address the uneven spread of radiologists across member states. CARESTREAM Radiology and Information Management Solutions are driving the initial test platform for the project by facilitating remote reporting of images from hospitals in Denmark, Finland and Czech Republic by clinical providers in Estonia, Lithuania and the Netherlands.
