The German Adiposity Centre, Red Cross Clinic, treats adiposity patients interdisciplinary.
Directed by surgeon and private lecturer Ralf Matkowitz MD, specialists in internal medicine, cardiologists, orthopaedic specialists, as well as physiotherapists and nutritionists, are developing optimised treatment strategies. As required, they carry out procedures such as gastric banding surgery, stomach pacemaker fittings, or gastric bypass surgery.
