27 th Annual Meeting of the German Society of Senology

This year´s congress of the German Society of Senology (June 21.-23. in Lübeck, Germany) will deal with latest developments in the diagnosis and therapy of breast cancer like screening and early detection methods or new diagnostic modalities.

With about 50,000 new detections every year, breast cancer is the most common kind of cancer that women are affected by. Although figures getting better due to European-wide screening programmes, there is still a lot of potential to reduce the number of breast cancer. During the 27th annual meeting of the German Society of Senology, the latest trends in diagnostic and treatment will be discussed.
