The ProSound Alpha 6

Aloka reports that, by utilizing the established technology of the firm’s high performance ProSound Alpha 10 and Alpha 7, the Alpha 6 high-power processor delivers imaging modes previously seen only in high end systems, with no compromise on image quality or colour Doppler sensitivity. Designed for convenience and ease of use, the firm adds that it is ‘compact and ergonomic, featuring a large, programmable, touch screen panel for quick access to frequently used controls making examinations simpler.’

The feedback on the new system ‘has been superb’, says Carlos Faustmann, Chief Operating Officer at ALOKA Holding Europe. ‘Its addition to our range means the Alpha series now offers diagnostic ultrasound solutions to meet every user’s needs, from research to the daily workflow of ultrasound departments.’
